Where I work, the air-conditioner is run “economically” meaning not at all. In summer it gets really hot and on this day I forgot my water bottle. I was mid way through serving a customer during a christmas rush (I’m Aussie), when I started to see black spots in my vision and went in to a cold sweat. At this point, I knew I was fainting so I said to the customer “can you please excuse me for a moment” before I fell on the floor.
The customer got mad because I couldn’t finalise her purchase and she had to wait for someone to some serve her.
